ScanXm is a standalone desktop application for the visualization, annotation and segmentation of biomedical images. The user interface is designed to be intuitive and easy to use, with most operations requiring only a single click of the button. It is capable of reading and writing most medical image data formats and includes various image processing tools. In addition to manual annotation tools, ScanXm includes deep-learning based filters and automatic segmentation modules for various organs. ScanXm is free for non-commercial use, although exporting after AI-based operations requires a paid commercial license.

No cloud computing
Most AI tools send data to the cloud to be processed in a data center. In this case there will always be the risk of a data breach. ScanXm processes all data locally, giving you full control over the security of your patient data.
No python
While the python scripting language has gained great popularity in recent years, it is beyond the capabilities of most PC users. ScanXm is a regular Windows application, which will run with the click of a button.
No need for an expensive GPU
GPUs have greatly accelerated the growth of AI technologies. However, its importance and necessity is often exaggerated. The AI tools in ScanXm will work even without a GPU.
ScanXm now seamlessly integrates with MONAI Label!
