About

Minogame [mi.nɔ.gæ.mɛ] is named after a Japanese mythical turtle with a tail of seaweed which it accumulated during its very long life. The Minogame symbolizes longevity and wisdom, and because of this, perfectly represents our mission to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to accelerate healthcare research and innovation. Minogame Ltd. was founded in 2021 by Tristan Whitmarsh in order to release the software tool ScanXm, which was partially funded by the Wellcome Trust and the University of Cambridge. ScanXm is now the core software platform, which features a graphical user interface for performing manual annotations, as well as AI based tools for the processing and automatic segmentation of medical images. If you plan to annotate medical images, look no further!
